Choose Your Class: Four New Adventures Arrive in the Gallery

It’s hard to believe that my last portfolio update was back on April 16.

The weeks since then have been wonderfully busy. Between family life, tattooing, running the studio, and continuing to build Imaginal Atelier, much of my creative time has been spent quietly working behind the scenes.

Today, I’m excited to finally share the results.

Four new illustrations have joined the portfolio, each inspired by the worlds children create when imagination transforms an ordinary afternoon into an epic adventure.

These pieces continue the Worlds They Imagine series—a collection celebrating dress-up, make-believe, and the boundless stories children create when given a little space to dream.

The Knight — The Little Champion

Sometimes bravery looks like charging into battle.

Sometimes it looks like standing your ground when everyone else runs away.

Our Little Champion faces impossible odds with nothing but determination, a toy sword, and a loyal bird companion cheering them on.

The Mage — The Curious Apprentice

Magic rarely works the way we expect.

The Curious Apprentice has discovered that convincing a frog to become a prince may require a little more practice than the spellbook suggested.

This piece captures the wonder, experimentation, and occasional mishaps that make learning so much fun.

The Rogue — The Clever Scout

Every adventuring party needs someone who notices things others miss.

The Clever Scout moves quietly through the forest, always alert for clues, treasure, and opportunities for mischief.

Though judging by that snapped twig, stealth may still be a work in progress.

The Cleric — The Gentle Healer

Not every hero fights monsters.

Some mend what is broken.

The Gentle Healer reminds us that kindness, compassion, and caring for others can be just as heroic as any sword or spell.

It’s one of my favorite pieces in the collection and perfectly captures the heart of imaginative play.

To celebrate the launch, I’ve also created a collection of accompanying merchandise inspired by each character’s defining trait:

What’s Next?

One of the things I’ve learned while building Imaginal Atelier is that meaningful work often happens quietly.

While it may seem like long stretches pass between portfolio updates, those periods are usually filled with sketchbooks, experiments, revisions, and ideas slowly finding their shape.
